What We're Working On for 2009

The Ontario Chapter has a goal of 64 new dealer members in 2009. We have a long way to go to reach this goal but 2009 is a great year to be a member of the Ontario Chapter. Members receive a $75 discount off badges to the Summit in Ottawa and free passes to EXPO in Reno - two great industry events.

Members also receive regular updates on regulatory issues that affect their businesses and are helping to support HPBAC's efforts on their behalf to fight unfair regulation and to increase awareness of the benefits of their products.

Ontario Summit - June 6-8, 2009

New Ontario Chapter Administrator

The Board of Directors has agreed to hire a new Administrator for the Ontario Chapter. The new staff member will start on January 5, 2009 and will work out of the national HPBAC office in Huntsville.

Ontario Team in HPBAC Hockey Tournament at EXPO

The Ontario Chapter entered a team named the Ontario Hearthaholics in the 2008 Floor Hockey Tournament at the HPBAC Reception in Atlanta. Although the team didn't make it to the semi-finals, losing their first game to the EnviroMentals and tying the Vermont Castings Vipers, they definitely had the brightest jerseys.

Ontario Chapter Board Looking for 2011 Summit Site
The Ontario Chapter Board is on the look-out for a site for the 2011 Summit and we're going to leave the final decision up to the participants at the 2009 Summit. Watch for our display and vote for your preferred location at the 2009 Summit.
